Earthquake Relief Efforts: Tents for Saint Michel schools

Ecole St. Michel is the nearest school to Ile a Vache on the mainland in the city of Les Cayes. It was completely destroyed during the earthquake and it was uncertain if classes would be able to start this year. FH4H’s founder Ines Lozano visited the school and spoke with the principal, Sister Roselore, who requested large tents to be able to start the school year and provide a sense of normalcy for its 700 students.

Ecole St. Michelle, a school neighboring mainland city of Les Cayes, was destroyed during the earthquake. It was uncertain if classes would start this year. Thanks to many generous donations for large tents, Ecole St. Michelle was able to start classes as planned.
