Earthquake Relief Efforts: Water Filter Distribution

Disaster Aid Canada and Rotary International in collaboration with FH4H delivered 100 Sawyer Water filters to little Foot Prints Big Steps organization in Les Cayes.

The co-founder of the organization, Morgan Weinberg said: “Regions that our team has visited post-earthquake that have difficulty accessing clean water include: Payan, Fermleblanc, Saut Mathurine, and Randell. These are all rural regions that do not receive aid very easily. We will prioritize them for distribution of the water filters.  Thank you for making this happen! With the gas shortages currently happening in Haiti access to treated water has become even more difficult. This is perfect timing!”
